# How to Submit a Request

## How to Submit a Request

Failure to include the following information will result in your request being rejected.

### Submit via Email:

- Send your request to [lawenforcement@rocket.chat](mailto:lawenforcement@rocket.chat).

*Note: We do not accept legal process via postal mail unless required by law. Digital submission is preferred for speed and security.*

### Required Information Checklist:

- Request must be on official agency letterhead.
- Target URL: You MUST provide the specific workspace URL (e.g., company.rocket.chat or open.rocket.chat).
- Identifiers: Username, email address, or other specific identifiers.
- Legal Basis: Cite the specific legal authority (Statute, Code, etc.).
- Contact Info: Official email address (e.g., name@agency.gov) and phone number of the requesting agent.
