# Create and Access Your Cloud Account

Rocket.Chat Cloud is a centralized portal for managing your Rocket.Chat workspaces. From your Cloud account, you can view connected self-managed and cloud-hosted workspaces, manage subscriptions and billing, and access other Cloud settings.

When setting up a self-managed workspace, the [registration wizard](/v1/docs/setup-your-workspace) prompts you to connect the workspace to an existing Rocket.Chat Cloud account or create a new one. You must have a Cloud account before you can register the workspace.

## Create a Rocket.Chat Cloud account

You can create a Cloud account directly from the [Rocket.Chat Cloud Portal:](https://cloud.rocket.chat/)

1. Go to **Rocket.Chat Cloud**.
2. Select **Create Account**.
3. Enter the required account information.
4. Accept the [Terms and Conditions](/v1/docs/historical-agreements-and-policy-archive) and [Privacy Policy](/v1/docs/privacy-policy).
5. Select **Next**.
6. Check your email inbox for a confirmation message.
7. Open the confirmation link to activate your account.

After activating your account, any workspaces connected to it appear on the **Workspaces** screen.

> [**Cloud-hosted workspaces:**](/v1/docs/rocketchat-cloud-hosting-service-level-agreement-sla) When you create your first cloud-hosted workspace, Rocket.Chat automatically creates a Cloud account for you.

## Log in to your Rocket.Chat Cloud account

You can access your Cloud account using your password or a login link sent to your email address.

### Log in with your password

1. Go to **Rocket.Chat Cloud**.
2. Enter the email address and password associated with your Cloud account.
3. Sign in to access the Cloud Portal.

### Log in with an email link

1. Go to **Rocket.Chat Cloud**.
2. Enter the email address associated with your Cloud account.
3. Select **Send Login Link**.
4. Open the email you receive and select **Sign In**. You can also copy the provided URL and paste it into your web browser.

After signing in, you can access your connected workspaces and Cloud account settings.
