This includes controlling login notifications and managing active device sessions. ## Configure login detection email Admins can control whether workspace members are notified when new logins are detected on their accounts. To access this setting, go to **Manage** → **Workspace** → **Settings** → **Device management**. - **Enable login detection emails**: When enabled, emails are sent to workspace members each time new logins are detected on their account. Before enabling this, ensure [SMTP](/v1/docs/configure-email#configure-smtp-settings) is properly configured for your workspace to send emails. - **Allow workspace members to turn off login detection emails**: When enabled, users can manage their own login notification preferences from their [profile settings](/v1/docs/manage-your-account-settings#notifications). This is useful in environments with frequent session expirations, where repeated login notifications may become excessive. --- ## Manage connected user devices ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/6ae79a05-7252-45d0-96e8-8f375e07b1b2/Images/Documentation/Premium(1).svg) As a workspace administrator, you can view and control devices associated with user accounts on your workspace. To access the list of connected devices, navigate to **Manage** → **Workspace** → **Device management**. > [!NOTE] > If you have [two-factor authentication](/v1/docs/accounts#set-up-two-factor-authentication) enabled, you’ll be prompted for the 2FA code before you can access the list of connected devices. The list shows the connected devices with the **Client**, **Version**, **OS**, **User**, **Last login**, **Device ID**, and **IP address** columns. You can sort the list by **Client**, **OS**, **User**, or **Last login**. Device management uses the `view-device-management` and `logout-device-management` permissions, which are assigned to the **admin** role. Users with only the **user** role can't view the list or log out devices. ### View the connected device information To view the connected device information: 1. Click the device in the list. 2. The **Device info** panel opens and shows the following information: 1. Client 2. Version 3. OS 4. User 5. Last login 6. Device ID 7. IP address The following screenshot shows an example of the **Device management** screen: ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/6ae79a05-7252-45d0-96e8-8f375e07b1b2/Images/Documentation/image(141).png) ### Search for devices Use the **Search devices or users** field at the top of the **Device management** screen to filter devices by username, client, or operating system. ### Log out a device To disconnect a device: 1. Click the device you want to remove. 2. Click **Log out device**. 3. Confirm the action by clicking the **Logout device** button. Alternatively, click the kebab menu ( ⋮ ) next to the device and select **Logout Device**. Once logged out, the session on that device ends immediately. The user's sessions on their other devices stay signed in, and the user can sign back in on that device at any time.
