Omnichannel Video/Audio Call Configuration

Make WebRTC, your Omnichannel call provider by navigating to Administration > Workspace > Settings > Omnichannel > Video and Audio Call > Call Provider You can either use Jitsi or WebRTC as your omnichannel audio/video call provider.

Jitsi

To configure Video/Audio Calls on your Rocket.Chat workspace using Jitsi:
  1. 1.
    Log in as an Admin and follow this guide to download and set up Jitsi.
  2. 2.
    You can set the default provider and where it can be used at Administration > Workspace > Settings > Conference Call
  3. 3.
    Make Jitsi, your Omnichannel call provider by specifying the Call Provider at Administration > Workspace > Settings > Omnichannel > Video and Audio Call > Call Provider

WebRTC

  1. 1.
    Make WebRTC, your Omnichannel call provider by navigating to Administration > Workspace > Settings > Omnichannel > Video and Audio Call > Call Provider
  2. 2.
    Select WebRTC
To use WebRTC as the call provider:

    Configure WebRTC on your server following this guide
  2. 2.
    Then make WebRTC, your Omnichannel call provider at Administration > Workspace > Settings > Omnichannel > Video and Audio Call > Call Provider
