# Telegram Agent's Guide

Once the Telegram app is connected and configured:

- When a user sends a message to your Telegram bot. It’ll appear in your Rocket.Chat workspace like any other [Omnichannel conversation](https://docs.rocket.chat/docs/omnichannel-conversations#handling-new-omnichannel-messages).
- Any available [agent](https://docs.rocket.chat/docs/omnichannel-users) can pick up the conversation and respond directly from Rocket.Chat.
- The user will receive the reply on Telegram.
- You can also send and receive files during the chat.

## Quick replies

You can use quick reply buttons to send or receive responses on Telegram. This is especially useful when using a chatbot to handle Omnichannel conversations.

Before enabling quick replies, make sure you have a bot (such as [Dialogflow](https://docs.rocket.chat/v1/docs/dialogflow-app) or [RASA](https://docs.rocket.chat/v1/docs/rasa-app)) configured in your workspace.

To enable quick replies for bots, admins must follow these steps:

- Navigate to **Manage** ![Screenshot 2025-12-23 130522.png](https://cdn.us.document360.io/6ae79a05-7252-45d0-96e8-8f375e07b1b2/Images/Documentation/Screenshot%202025-12-23%20130522.png) **> Workspace > Settings > Omnichannel > Routing**.
- Enable [**Assign new conversations to bot agent**](/v1/docs/omnichannel). This setting lets the system route new chats to a bot agent before assigning them to a human agent.
