What languages does Rocket.Chat support?

Rocket.Chat supports multiple languages through community-driven translations.

While there is no fixed list of officially supported languages, the platform is available in a wide range of languages maintained by contributors.

How it works

  • Translations are provided and maintained by the global community

  • Language availability may vary depending on translation coverage

  • You can select your preferred language in your account settings

How are languages categorized into tiers?

Rocket.Chat groups languages into tiers based on how complete and reliable the translations are:

  • Tier 1 (80%+ complete): High-quality translations with strong coverage, often maintained by dedicated contributors or professional services

  • Tier 2 (50–79% complete): Moderately complete translations, with some inconsistencies or untranslated areas

  • Tier 3 (<50% complete): Basic translations with significant gaps; parts of the interface may still appear in the default language
