Custom Emoji Filesystem

You can decide where to store the custom emojis uploaded in your Rocket.Chat workspace. By default, emojis are stored using GridFS within MongoDB. If you prefer to store them on your local system, specify a valid storage path where they should be saved.

To access this setting, go to Administration > Workspace > Settings > Custom Emoji Filesystem.

• Storage Type: Select how you want to store emojis, either GridFS or Filesystem.

• System Path: If the storage type is FileSystem, specify a valid storage path where the emoji should be stored.

• Click Save Changes.
