How do I downgrade my Rocket.Chat workspace plan?

To downgrade your plan, you need to cancel your current subscription:

  1. Go to Manage → Workspace → Subscription

  2. Click Manage subscription

  3. Follow the steps to cancel your subscription

  • For self-service subscriptions, this will schedule your downgrade.

  • For sales-managed plans, the downgrade happens automatically when your contract expires.

When does the downgrade take effect?

Downgrades do not happen immediately.

  • Your workspace will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period

  • After that, it will automatically revert to the lower-tier or Community plan

What happens when I downgrade my workspace plan?

Downgrading your plan results in the removal or limitation of certain features, depending on the plan transition.

Will I lose data when downgrading?

Some features may stop working, and certain data (such as read receipts) may no longer be accessible after downgrading.
